Ms Ambreen Jan , Secretary

Ms. Ambreen Jan is a senior officer of the Information Group. She joined the service in 1990 and over the years she has served on various key positions. Being a career civil servant, she has held a diverse range of policy-making positions comprising Press Counsellor at High Commission of Pakistan, Dhaka; Deputy Director General, Islamabad in PID, Islamabad; and Executive Director General, EP Wing at M/o I&B, Islamabad. She has also remained the Director General, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation.

Her alma maters include: Kinnaird College University for Women, Lahore from where she completed her B.A, and Government College Lahore, from where she did her M.A in English Literature.

She is also a graduate of the National Security Course-2020, from the National Defense University, Islamabad. She also attended language courses in French from L’Alliance Française in 2007-2008.
